Temperatures are slowly dropping, as are the leaves on the trees. Summer seems like a

distant memory, as the students at Goetz immerse themselves in learning new skills and

creating a wealth of middle school memories

There is never a “quiet” time at Goetz – we are constantly doing things to enhance your

child’s education and middle school years. Our October calendar is an ambitious one – the

Book Fair was recently held. The students had the opportunity to purchase from an

extensive selection of books, posters, and related supplies. There was something for every

student and every grade level. October is also National Bullying Awareness Month. Each

day the students have been participating in activities and lessons designed to enhance

school culture and climate. In keeping with the spirit of fun, we would like to allow the

children to dress in costume for the day on Friday, October 30, 2015, if they wish. In order

to provide for a safe, fun experience for all, please be sure to adhere to the following:

 Costumes must be school appropriate and should not depict any type of violence

 Masks will not be permitted

 Weapons, real or fake are prohibited

With your cooperation, this day can be both fun and safe.
